Downtown
More than 60% of Morocco's high-tech companies and the majority of its banks are established in Casablanca. Its new and ultramodern Mohammed V airport is an important hub. A large business centre and vast open-spaces are available for congresses and exhibitions and can handle the largest of events. Its commercial port, built at the turn of the 20th century, is the second North African port and handles 70% of the national maritime traffic. For everything concerning business and major decisions, it is here that it happens! History proves it: Churchill and Roosevelt prepared the Allied invasion of Europe, in January 1943, during the Anfa conference.
Outdoor activities
The various possible activities are ideal for building team spirit in a company. Golf tournaments can be organised at the 4 golf courses in the area (Anfa Royal Golf Club, Settat University Golf Club, Mohammedia and Bouznika Bay golf clubs). Horse trekking or sailing regattas too. Evening greyhounds racing at the only greyhound track in Africa is a surprising sight (Mondays and Thursdays) while falcons are bred and trained for hunting in the Kasbah of Boulaouane, also famous for its pale rosé wine.
