In the foothills of the Rif mountains, the two golf courses which allow an exploration of Tangier, the pearl of the Strait, and Tétouan, the Arab-Andalusian city classified as universal heritage by Unesco.
The natural, authentic, and undeniably British appearance bestowed by its designers Cotton and Pennink in 1914 remains. You will be charmed by the clubhouse's pretty gazebo, the dazzling view from the green of the fifth hole, the highest point on the course and the whiteness of Tangier below. The course winds through the pines, firs and eucalyptus. After golf, take advantage of the beaches and water sports. Take a walk through the Petit and Grand Socco, sip a tea at Cape Spartel while admiring the sunset. And experience the trendy side of Tangier having tried your luck at the casino.
Designed by Hawtree & Sons in 1976 and amended by Cabell B. Robinson since, the course is tucked into the side of the Rif massif, overlooking the sea. Dense shrub, dunes and hills dot this flowery golf course. The natural, wilder vegetation made up of agaves and mimosas resurges in places. This golf course is open all year round. After golf, Tamuda Bay offers restaurants and water sports. Visit Tétouan and its medina, set off for Chefchaouen and take a walk through the Rif-Akchour massif to the Pont de Dieu or to Talemboute.
