Quoted by the Map, MNTO says that last year, 48% of nights spent by the Portuguese in Morocco were registered in the city of Oriental.

In second place, the Portuguese go to Marrakech, which last year had 17% more nights and arrivals to the Marrakech-Menara airport of Portuguese tourists increased by 30%.

Overall, the number of Portuguese tourists in Morocco is increasing, like Tangier, whose growth was 7% in number and 17% in overnight stays. Agadir, shunned for several years by travel agencies last year saw a spectacular rise of 112% of arrivals and 233% overnight stays, says the ONMT.

It should be noted that last year, 69,000 Portuguese visited the kingdom generating a total of 145,000 overnight stays.
