The Trip Advisor travel guide published its Travelers' Choice Awards ranking of the most popular destinations in 2020. Marrakech is thus ranked 21st. As a result, the ochre-colored city rivals several famous destinations such as London, Bali and Rome and is ahead of Tokyo, Lisbon and New York.

Destination of several celebrities who have stayed in these beautiful riads, the Palace Royal Mansour has won the title of "Best Urban Hotel" at the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler 2019 award in its 11th edition, beating out The Ned in London, the Four Seasons George V in Paris and the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin.

The TripAdvisor website announced these Top 25 of the world's best destinations at the "Travellers' Choice® awards for Best Destinations 2019". Marrakech is thus placed ninth, with London at the top of the ranking, followed by Paris. It is thus ahead of Dubai, Prague and Siem Reap.
